The "Pearl CB" from EXCELSIOR is an e-bike with a very elegant and slim appearance. The placement of the battery contributes significantly to the appearance, because it blends discreetly into the down tube of the "Pearl CB". Thus, it forms the common low center of gravity with the mid-motor in the bottom bracket area for the balanced riding characteristics.
The significant difference to the "Pearl" is the braking system. In addition to the hydraulic disc brake, you can also bring the "Pearl CB" to a halt with the coaster. When pedaling, on the other hand, the "Active Line" mid-motor from BOSCH pushes forward diligently at up to 25 km/h. Gently at first, until it then unleashes its full power at high speeds.
With the eight gears of the SHIMANO "Nexus" internal gear hub, the energy consumption can be fine-tuned again. In addition, the shifting is particularly low-maintenance and durable, which is why it is made for daily use together with the equipment suitable for everyday use and the upright seating position, which is provided by the frame.
