Singlespeed bike "Dandy" is a statement in itself. Purist without compromise. No frills, no chichi. EXCELSIOR has reduced its "Dandy" completely to the essentials in order to get from A to B in the city quickly and sportily.
Without gears, it's up to the rider to really get the classic-looking steel frame going. The lightweight wheels with the 23mm narrow tires and the fact that there is not much more to the bike than the sporty saddle, the color-matched grips on the straight handlebars or the two rim brakes help.
Who wants to make the Singlespeed to the "Fixie", turns the rear wheel once. With the so-called flip-flop hub, you switch to the rigid sprocket without freewheel. So the "Dandy" then drives completely purist.
