The "Pearl Luxury" is visually a very graceful, elegant, almost luxurious e-bike that catches the eye especially with its slim silhouette. New to last year's model is the smart "BES 3" system from BOSCH. This consists of the "Performance Line CX" motor, a remote lever and the "Kiox 300" display.
The individual driving modes can be set via the lever as well as via the display. The two components can therefore also be used independently of each other. This means that if you prefer a clean cockpit, the lever is sufficient for selecting the riding modes. Colors indicate the currently selected mode.
Comfortable and stylish is shifted by electronic SHIMANO "Inter 5 Di2". A small motor on the hub takes over the shifting quickly and gently when the gear change has been announced by the pushbutton switches on the handlebars. In addition: with efficient use of the five available gears, it can also positively influence the range of the 500 Wh battery. Directly in the down tube sits the "PowerTube" and thus underlines the tidy overall picture.
The brakes are just as sensitive as the engine. The hydraulic disc brakes "MT 200" also from SHIMANO can also really bite, but above all they convince with their precise dosing.
Both headlight and taillight are powered by the battery. With 50 lux, the LED headlight of CONTEC always illuminates the way brightly. The rear light convinces with its parking light function, which makes you also while waiting at a dark intersection better perceived by other road users. The luggage carrier is made to take it with up to 25 kg weight - ideal for panniers and baskets loaded with luggage or shopping.
