When pedaling, the "Active Line" mid-range motor from BOSCH provides support up to 25 km/h. Gently at first, until it then unleashes its full power at high speeds. It is also pleasantly quiet in operation. You can choose between four support levels, which you can set via the clear "Intuvia" display.
The fine tuning takes over the durable and low-maintenance SHIMANO "Nexus" internal gear hub with eight gears. The brakes are just as sensitive as the engine. The hydraulic disc brakes "MT 200" also from SHIMANO can also really bite, but above all they convince through their easy operation.
Last but not least, the frame dictates the way you ride. In an upright seating position and with equipment suitable for everyday use, the EXCELSIOR "Pearl" is an e-city bike for every day and all occasions.
